Responsibilities

Processing and posting daily transactions.
Maintenance of timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
Proper collation and filling of relevant transaction and tax documents (Daily).
Ensure timely preparation of Monthly Bank Reconciliation statements (end of the month).
Maintain accurate Credit and Debt Management reports (Vendor, Rent, service charge, Bank Guarantee etc.)
Manage HQ Petty Cash and periodic reporting to Accounts Manager for review. Note all petty expenses must be with an approval by the Accounts Manager.
Ensure complete Collation and timely posting of all Manager’s and store’s Petty Cash before reimbursement.
Head office treasury functions which include banking, payments etc as advised by the MD or Accounts Manager
Assist the financial manager where required with aspects of Payroll functions.
Inventory Assurance Functions (Stock Counts activities, procurement, distribution, reconciliation, Inventory update on database, posting/adjusting Inventory ledgers and Reporting)
Maintain timely and accurate General ledgers to uphold timely reporting. Also ensuring a nil balance on all suspense accounts ledgers after full enquiry obtained (Immediately Database Sync is completed).
Maintain accurate fixed assets register and fixed assets schedule.
Pension and Tax Support functions as advised.
Undertake any other compliance/accounting duties as advised by the Accounts Manager or the MD.
