Analysing and interpreting both internal and external data.
Setting up, maintaining, and managing accounting and finance systems within the OG
Overseeing the preparation and management of complex/carried budgets and final accounts;
Providing sound, accurate and timely financial information, and advice to Management
Supervising the input and processing of financial data Financial Application ensuring data integrity
Assisting with ensuring a smooth operation of the organization’s payroll process;
Working with the management to prepare and finalize budgets, forecasts and other financial plans and carry out continuous follow-ups Risk, Compliance and Control
Carrying out day to day liaison and relationship management with the banks, company’s internal auditors, statutory auditors and other legal authorities
Ensuring that statutory accounts are maintained, most especially in such areas as PAYE, Withholding tax, Pension, Company tax, etc
Managing accounts receivables and payment of account payables due
Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation.
Developing, monitoring and reviewing departmental accounting policies, procedures and processes
First Degree in Accounting, Economics o related fields(Upper Credit, 2:1, First Class or Distinction)
ICAN, ACCA or CFA.
Minimum 5years’ experience
Ability to work with various kinds of Accounting Softwares including but not limited to (QuickBooks, Sage, SAP, NAVISION etc);
Ability to work with Microsoft Office tools such as Microsoft (MS) Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.
